JOB SUMMARY

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and comprehend production SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
1. Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature and general operation.
2. Examine visually, weigh and measure components created from equipment at the end of the week to ensure machines are producing according to company and industry regulations and standards, making adjustments as needed.
3. Work with team members, shift supervisors and all necessary personnel to take care of complications as they arise.
4. Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions, and take care of them as they come up.
5. Use regulated cleaning solutions, grease guns, oil cans, air hoses and cleaning cloths to properly maintain and clean equipment on a bimonthly basis.
6. Make repairs to equipment when necessary, and replace all defective, broken or worn out components.
7. Choose and install cutters, molds and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency.
8. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive, may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Relevant diploma or equivalent from a reputable technical training institution.
1. At least 1-2 working experience in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment
2. Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
3. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to heat/cold conditions and levels of noise, and potential exposure to various industrial liquids, oils, gases, etc.
4. Working knowledge and experience with MS Excel, MS Word, Data Entry
5. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
6. Meeting physical requirements, such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods
7. Adhere to quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
8. Must be able to work a flexible/rotating work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime (covering all shift schedules).
9. Must be able to follow and read safety standards and practices.
